Research proves that children who face additional challenges do better when they are included in normal childcare and schooling. This level of inclusion takes resources: training, research and support. That takes money. While government funding helps, it only covers a third of our expenses. For the rest, we rely on you.

Our operation costs are less than 20%, so every dollar you donate has a big impact on the services we offer to families. The majority of our costs are invested in providing our highly skilled educators to work on the ground with our STaR children, whose needs are complex and ever changing. We assure you that STaR operates frugally, as a charity should, and plans carefully how every dollar is spent.
